STEM Camp 2024
Junior
Join us for an exciting and educational journey in our STEM Camp Summer 2024, designed for junior campers. Participants will engage in a series of hands-on activities that explore the intersection of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. In the first week, campers will delve into the solar system, using Scratch tools to design models and understand the universe’s formation while learning about the critical role of mathematics in space discovery. The second week will introduce scenario-based game development, where campers will use integers in calculations and explore human anatomy and physiology. The third week focuses on simulating electric circuits through Scratch coding, teaching campers to design and calculate inputs and outputs in electrical devices. In the fourth week, participants will apply their coding and circuit-making skills to simulate and create practical devices such as fire-detecting alarms, coded light variance systems, and noise alert systems. The camp culminates in a presentation and demonstration of projects, allowing campers to showcase their creativity and newly acquired skills.
STEM Camp 2024
Senior
Join us for our STEM Camp Summer 2024, where intermediate campers will embark on an engaging and educational journey from July 1st to July 31st. Throughout the camp, participants will delve into advanced topics, starting with understanding the dynamics and kinematics of the solar system to design working models using Scratch, and exploring the natural phenomena behind star and solar system formation. In the second week, campers will tackle difficulty-based game development, incorporating integers and rational numbers in their analytical applications, while also learning about human anatomy and physiology, focusing on decision-making organs. The third week will involve designing and simulating variable electric circuits through coding, analyzing circuit behavior with varying inputs and outputs, and applying electrical equipment to achieve desired outcomes. In the final week, participants will apply their skills to create practical devices such as weather monitoring systems, motion-detecting lights, and heart rate trackers. The camp culminates with a presentation and demonstration of their projects, showcasing their enhanced knowledge and creativity in STEM fields.
